Working In Tampa

I've recently RECONNECTED with My old HARTFORD Connecticut EMS Buds through Face Book. I wanted to Blog about my life here in Tampa for any of you freaks that are interested in whats been going on w/ me since I left Connecticut in 2002 after my Mom Passed (11/11/2001)

My Bill paying Job,(Quality Distribution) I am an Emergency Service's Coordinator for a Large Bulk Trucking Company Corporate Based here In Tampa w/ Terminals all over US and Canada I work the overnight there 7-12's then have next 7 days off,. I answer emergency calls from our drivers who have had an MVA Or Hazmat spills, or anything else they manage to throw at me, I get them the appropriate help they need, I notify our in house adjusters of accidents, Termianls, and The big guys the Vp Of Safety if needed, if we are gonna make the news.... (bad) . we try NOT to make the News! I work with our Emergency Response yeam to organize HazMat responses I interview the drives for incident info, which I fill out reports Set up Drug & ETOH testing per protocol, WHO knew My EMS background would come in handy for a NON EMS job? but that is why I was hired due to my Background., took me lots of heartache to finally get a decent job down here, Florida is a difficult state to work in as far as good jobs,It's a "right to work" state I never heard of that before, I believe it's a fancy term that gives the EMPLOYERS down here the right to be assholes is my thought.

On My "Off" week from my "pill paying" job I work For Linda she Is The Owner of a Dog Product manufacturing Company X2, leashes, collars, toys, GO LOOK AT THIS SITES...............

that is a FUN job that I love! Linda M (my boss) brings her 3 dogs to the shop everyday, Annie, (yellow Lab) retired agility champion, (Cricket), Sheltie/Border collie rescue, all around cutie Pie, we use Cricket in lots of Promo shots for web page she is very well trained and being part BC, she is extremely smart, and last but not least (Rocky Rocket) Her Aussie rescue who has Issues! LOL! He's a mommas boy who freaks if mommy leaves without him. The shop is North of Tampa

Linda is kinda like a dog whisperer..lol she grew up around dogs ,TRAINS dogs, TEACHES Puppy classes here in Tampa, Ran agility, you name it, she knows it . I am lucky that she teaches me on a daily basis, about dogs. She also has researched and developed her Line Of GDG interactive dog toys, she takes pride in her product lines, which has contributed to her success in the industry.

Kicking Myself

Ok so I spent Sunday Kicking myself in my Fat ass, why you ask? well last night at Tropicana Field home of the Tampa Bay Rays, after their win over the Marlins I believe, I don't really care, personally I think MLB has gone crazy, why you ask? well lets see, humm players that have beat their "women" the drugs, the salaries, friggan crazy for a game! I know it's more than that but please Millions? Don't get me wrong I used to love baseball, I was born into a Red Sox family being born and raised in Connecticut. My fav was "pudge" Carlton Fisk. but then I grew up and saw all the wrong in MLB, ok so back to the Rays, they have this concert series they do after the game. Pat Benatar was the concert now those who personally know me I am a huge Benatar fan have been sice 1980, when I first heard Hell is for children, I was hooked, well anyways, The stage is set up in the field somewhere, and only the season ticket holders are allowed on the field for the concert, the other poor bastard have to stay in seats, which just pissed me off. Why you ask? well the first time I saw Pat wa sin New Haven Connecticut 1981ish I believe, I was in Nosebleed seats, This was the Concert that was taped for the HBO special I think was Pat's first Live gig that was taped. anyways back to nosebleed seats, he concert was amazing but I needed to be closer to the stage, which did not happen, I left with a void, and vowed never to be that far from the Stage. My next Benatar concert was at the Hartford Civic Center where at that time you could camp out for tickets which I did, In December In New England. Ok COLD! but well worth it I came out w/ 2nd row on the floor!!!!! HOLY SHIT! needless to say I was a happy Fan! Made up a banner to welcome Pat Neil and then Brandy new baby Haley, Pat and Neils first born daughter. The Banner was simple it said HARTFORD CT WELCOME PAT,NEIL and HALEY KEEP ROCKIN! So when I found out I could not be on the field I pouted,,lol ya pouted, and refused to be anywhere else but on the field. So I did not attend... Im such a dumbass. I got up Sunday and went to the Fan Site ,http://www.benatarfanclub.com/ and read the reviews on the Prior FLA Concert's so I read the review for the Orlando concert the night before, I saw the "thing" that made me Kick My own ass, Apperently Myrom Grombacher Pats Original Drummer joined the Gang in Orlando and Probley Tampa/St Pete. well Myron is such an awesome friggan drummer I was a huge fan of Myron I was sad when He left the Band awhile Back Not that Chris Ralles wasn't wonderful he is, but Myron is and will always be my Fav! oh and the fact that this is the 30th year anniversary for Pat and Neil's Rock and Roll Legacy. Im such a dumbass, I dserve it though I guess for being STUPID!
